With the goal to help up and coming drivers within the karting community, SuperKarts! USA (SKUSA) Champion Nick Tucker and his Nitro Kart product line are pleased to introduce the ‘Nitro Kart Scholarship’ for a deserving Cadet driver.
Set to commence at the beginning of the 2017 season, the Nitro Kart Scholarship program will cover kart, tent, transport, driver coaching, race suit and mentorship from Nick Tucker himself in a select series as well as the chance to join a growing list of national championship winning drivers and tuners already under the team tent and confirmed for the 2017 racing season. With plans to compete in SKUSA, United States Pro Kart Series (USPKS) and World Karting Association (WKA) programs, the lucky and deserving competitor will have the opportunity to choose the series that best suits them and their racing goals.
In a recent interview with eKartingNews.com, Tucker stated that the future of the sport are the drivers in the Cadet ranks and his sole goal is to work with these competitors as they begin their march through the karting ranks and into the world of motorsports.
“I have had the idea of a scholarship program for quite sometime,” explained the former champion. “We are looking for a driver that shows passion and sportsmanship. A proven track record of success on the national level with the desire to further their career in motorsports. The driver will be selected by a panel of karting experts including myself and industry insiders.”
Based out of the hub for American motorsports, Mooresville, North Carolina, and with plenty of resources in his backyard, Tucker has applied years of experience from karting all the way through NASCAR in developing the absolute best cadet chassis on the market and has the business race experience to offer top of the line track side and shop support.
“The kart comes from the same factory in Italy as other top cadet brands by Parolin so drivers of those brands of karts will feel right at home yet be able to take advantage of the technological and developmental advances made by me and my team of designers to set the Nitro Kart apart from the pack,” added Nick Tucker. “Drivers of other brands of karts have all adapted very quickly. The karts are fast and very easy to tune.”
Tucker continued, “2017 is going to be a big season for us. We are committed to race wins, podiums and championships and have set goals for both on track results and business development.”
With free test days available at GoPro Motorplex for interested drivers, serious Cadet racers interested in trying their hand at the Nitro Kart Scholarship program are asked to e-mail a complete driver resume along with 2017 planned series of competition and future goals to Nick Tucker.
