P1 CONTINUES TO ADD WINS IN NATIONAL COMPETITION

P1 Engines performed flawlessly in the oppressive heat at the Phoenix Kart Racing Association (PKRA) facility in Phoenix, Arizona, during the annual Superkarts! USA (SKUSA) Fikse Wheels Pro Tour SpringNationals. Karts with P1 Engines brought home two more national wins and nineteen top-ten finishes over the course of the weekend.

In TaG Cadet, Jak Crawford dominated on Saturday, winning every session. He started P2 on Sunday but, due to a carb issue, didn’t finish the race. Starting 44th in the second of two heats, he drove his way through the field finishing in 16th. The main event would see Crawford make another leap forward, crossing the line in sixth position. Oliver Calvo also had a good weekend, finishing fifth on Saturday and seventh on Sunday. Tomas Mejia had a rough day on Saturday, but managed to rebound and finish eighth on Sunday. Josh Pierson and Ugo Ugochukwu also posted top-ten results.

Phillippe Denes was consistently fast, finishing fourth on Saturday and seventh on Sunday. Austin Elliott, Matteo Vigano and Matt England all brought their P1 engines across the line in the top-ten, finishing sixth, seventh and ninth respectively.
